It is also ranked 1st in Asia and 18th in the world in Arts and Humanities in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025, and 4th in Asia and 1st in Hong Kong in Arts and Humanities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2025. The QS World University Subject Rankings 2025 places the Linguistics (9th), History of Art (12th), English Language and Literature (17th), and Modern Languages (17th) subjects among the top 20 worldwide.
