Students begin their journey with a China Immersion Programme, including visits to Shanghai and Beijing, offering first-hand exposure to China's dynamic business landscape, cultural insights, and valuable networking opportunities. Students will also participate in the Induction Week in Hong Kong, building lasting connections with classmates and the HKU alumni community. 

The full-time programme combines 9 Core Courses and 8 Elective Courses, delivering a rigorous, case-based learning experience that develops both business expertise and leadership capabilities.

Core Courses cover key disciplines including accounting, finance, strategy, marketing, economics, business analytics, and leadership, providing a robust foundation in management.

Choose from four global study tracks – As part of your full-time MBA journey, you are guaranteed the opportunity to study at one of our distinguished partner schools – London track with London Business School (LBS), New York track with Columbia Business School (CBS), Beijing track with Peking University (PKU) or Shanghai track with Fudan University (FDU), or simply continue your MBA journey in Hong Kong.

The HKU Part-time MBA, is designed with working professionals in mind, empowering ambitious professionals to develop the leadership, strategic thinking, and business expertise needed to thrive in today's rapidly evolving global economy.

The programme offers maximum flexibility without compromising academic excellence. Through a unique 6-week modular format, students focus on one course at a time, enabling them to balance career, personal commitments, and study effectively while immediately applying classroom insights to the workplace.

Study Modes Tailored to Your Needs

HK Mode

• Choose between Saturday (4 Saturdays) or Weekend Study Modes (2 weekends) every 6 weeks for core courses.

• Enjoy the flexibility to switch between study modes for selected courses, subject to availability and Programme Office approval.

GBA Mode

• Courses are offered as a Weekend Study Mode (2 weekends) every 6 weeks 

• Designed for professionals based in GBA area and leverages the campuses of both the HKU Business School and HKU Shenzhen Centre.

Students may complete the MBA in as little as two years or spread their studies over up to four years, providing the flexibility to customise their MBA journey according to their professional and personal goals.
