Overview
The Master of Science in Engineering in Building Services Engineering [MSc(Eng)(BSE)] provides advanced education in the design, management and operation of modern building services systems. The curriculum is designed for practising engineers and related professionals who wish to acquire new knowledge and keep abreast of technical developments in the building services industry.
The programme covers a wide range of subjects related to building services systems, including services system design, project management, operation and maintenance, energy performance, building intelligence and sustainability issues. Through these areas of study, students develop a broader understanding of both the technical and managerial aspects of building services engineering and the operation of modern building environments.
Students are required to complete 72 credits, comprising 48 credits of courses plus a dissertation equivalent to 24 credits.
The programme covers a wide range of subjects related to building services systems, including services system design, project management, operation and maintenance, energy performance, building intelligence and sustainability issues. 1. Comply with the University Entrance Requirements; and
2. Hold a Bachelor's degree of this University in a relevant Engineering or related Science discipline; or a qualification of equivalent standard from this University or another comparable institution accepted for this purpose.
